As the capital of Virginia and one of America’s oldest major cities, Richmond is constantly changing and developing! As the past has taught us, revitalization and enhancements are how all great cities are built! It is no secret that Richmond has not always been a sought-after city; but underneath all the deterioration, neglected buildings and behind the boarded-up homes, Richmond is a city filled with history that is constantly growing.
The population continues to rise as people flock to the historic city. According to the census, the population was 226,610 in 2020; making Richmond the fourth-most populous city in Virginia.
Revitalization projects are underway and the process of urban renewal has begun for the River City. Revitalization is how all great cities are rebuilt. Now is the time to make the most of your buying and selling opportunities in Richmond’s high demand real estate market.
